Our concert poster series celebrates timeless pieces thorough classical music history. This is our ode to Aaron Copland's ballet Appalachian Spring! This pastoral piece was written in 1944 and has become an American classic! We wanted to keep the design clean and uncomplicated, something that was important to Aaron Copland's music. There are slight subtle textural elements within the design - please see closeup photos. Appalachian Spring premiered with choreography by Martha Graham and set design by Isamu Noguchi. We also wanted to incorporate a nod to Noguchi's minimalist set within the design. The lyrics to shaker tune "Simple Gifts," which Copland uses in the composition, is also incorporated into the design. This print is perfect for music enthusiasts and adds a touch of interest to any space – from your living room to your music studio.

Each print is printed using an Epson UltraChrome printer, using water-based HDR ink-jet technology. All prints are glicee-printed on durable, matte paper and are archival-quality.
