Ethnomusicology is the study of music in different cultures. Ethnomusicologists use the Hornbostel-Sachs system to classify ALL instruments into four main groups, according to how they produce sound. This artful representation of this classification system can help visualize the instrument groups: idiophones, membranophones, chordophones and aerophones. Stay tuned for more iterations of this design using non-western instruments. This poster has a vintage feel, with subtle texture incorporated into the design. It's an ideal gift for anyone who loves music and culture.
Each print is printed using an Epson UltraChrome printer, using water-based HDR ink-jet technology. All prints are glicee-printed on durable, matte paper and are archival-quality.
